WE ARE IN TRANSITION! Since our decision to open our sangha to trans men, and gender fluid - gender non conforming members, we have a lot of work to do to update our site our Facebook page, PO Box etc to reflect our new identities! Please bear with us as we do this transition. At our April organizational meeting, we changed the name Lotus Sisters to our new name: Lotus Insight Sangha.

Here's a quick summary of the decisions and intentions from our July, Dec 2018 & April 2019 organizational meetings.
* Our new name is LOTUS INSIGHT SANGHA
*Lotus Sisters came to consensus, in two organizational meetings in July, that our annual retreat, & Capitol Hill Sit will broaden participation to include Trans Men, Intersex & Gender fluid/non-conforming people in addition to LBT women.
* The Columbia City South End now invites Trans Men, Intersex & Gender fluid/non-conforming people to join the sit in addition to LBT women.
* Existing sit members in the ongoing North End will determine their own process & decision making of remaining LBT women or including others.
* New Major Policy Decision Making Process approved
